The Mouse Roars: Canada Confronts the American Elephant
The Mouse Roars: Canada Confronts the American Elephant with Martin Regg Cohn.

About the event
A Canadian prime minister famously likened the American relationship to sleeping with a friendly elephant – and feeling every twitch. Today, Canada feels every tariff – and fears sleeping with the frenemy. Can Canadians ever unfriend Americans while sharing an undefended border? Bound by their shared geography and integrated economy, it’s complicated. And costly, for Americans and Canadians both.
